Day
1, Arrive Delhi
Meeting and assistance at the airport on arrival and transfer to Hotel. Over
night at Hotel.
Day 2, Delhi
Morning after breakfast, sightseeing tour of New and Old Delhi. In New Delhi
drive past the 12th century Qutab Minar, Moghul Emperor Humayun's tomb - a forerunner
of the Mughal style of architecture, the imposing Lakshimi Narayan temple, India
Gate (memorial to the Indian army soldiers who died in the World War I), the
Rashtrapati Bhavan (formerly the Viceroy's residence) and the Parliament House.
Later continue to Old Delhi to see the Red Fort - a marvel in red sandstone,
the Raj Ghat - memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, the Jama Masjid - the largest mosque
in India. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3, Delhi / Samode
After breakfast leave by chauffer driven car for Samode (241 km), a former principality.
Check-in at Hotel. Afternoon at leisure to visit the Samode Bagh, with a Moghul
Garden. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4, Samode / Jaipur / Samode
After breakfast leave for Amber, the former capital of Jaipur. Ascend the citadel
on elephant back and visit the Amber fort palace. This journey on caparisoned
elephants is bound to enrich your memories with the royal lifestyle of the Maharajas
and leave you with a truly unforgettable experience. Amber is a classic, romantic
Rajasthani fort palace. Precious stones and mirrors are embedded into the plaster.

Later
sightseeing tour of the city. The tour begins with a visit to the Maharaja's
City Palace, the former Royal residence, part of it converted into a museum.
A small portion is still used by the Royal family of Jaipur. Built in the style
of a fortified campus, the palace covers almost one-seventh in area of the city.
One of the major attractions in the museum is the portion known as Armory museum
housing an impressive array of weaponry-pistols, blunderbusses, flintlocks,
swords, rifles and daggers. Later visit the Jantar Mantar, which is the largest
stone and marble crafted observatory in the world. Situated near the gate of
the city palace, the observatory has 17 large instruments, many of them still
in working condition. Return to Samode for Overnight stay.
Day 5, Samode / Pushkar
After breakfast leave for Pushkar (190 km), famous for the Pushkar camel fair.
On arrival, check-in at hotel. Afternoon visit the only living temple in India
dedicated to Lord Brahma, the preserver of the universe, on the banks of the
Pushkar Lake, which is magically beautiful in the early morning or late evening
light and is one of India's most sacred lakes. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 6, Pushkar / Deogarh
After breakfast leave for Deogarh (160 km) and check in at Hotel. Afternoon
visit, the Anjaneshwar Mahadev temple - an extraordinary cave temple believed
to be around 2000 years old. Return to Hotel for overnight stay.
Day
7, Deogarh / Ranakpur / Deogarh
Full day excursion to Ranakpur (100 km) to visit the famous Jain temples, situated
in the lovely valley of the Aravali, built in the 15th century. Its surroundings
are peaceful and picturesque. The main temple in the complex is the Chaumukha
(four-faced) temple, built in 1439. Its 29 halls are supported by 1444 pillars,
each different from the other. Afternoon return to Deogarh for overnight stay.
Day 8, Deogarh / Dungarpar
After breakfast leave for Dungarpur, an erstwhile princely state (150 km) and
on arrival, check in at Hotel. Afternoon visit the ancient Juna Palace, initially
built in the turbulent 13th century. This 7-storeyed structure resembles a fortress
with crenulated walls, turrets and narrow entrances housing some colorful and
vibrant rooms with frescos; miniature paintings, glass and mirror inlay work.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 9 Dungarpar
After breakfast, excursion to Dev Somnath Temple at a distance of 20 km, a splendid
12th century temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and an exact replica of the original
Somnath temple in Gujarat or visit the Arthuna temples (55 km) to see the ruins
of Jain and Hindu temples. Return to Dungarpur for lunch. Afternoon rest and
relax at the Hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day
10, Dungarpar / Udaipur
Leave after breakfast for Udaipur (120 km) and check-in at hotel. Late afternoon
enjoy a boat cruise on Lake Pichola, surrounded by hills, palaces, temples,
bathing ghats and embankments. Visit the island palace Jag Niwas, which is beautifully
set in the lake. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 11, Udaipur / New Delhi
Morning city sightseeing of Udaipur, a splash of colour in Rajasthan that is
brighter when tinged with the tones of local lore and legends. Visit the City
Palace, built in 1725, which houses the Dilkhush Mahal, Sheesh Mahal - studded
with glittering Belgian mirrors, Moti Mahal and the Palace of Lord Krishna all
of which are ornately decorated. Later visit the Jagdish Temple, built in 1651,
dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Late afternoon transfer to airport for flight to Delhi.
Over night at Hotel.
Day 12, Delhi / Agra
After breakfast leave by chauffer driven car for Agra (204 km) and on arrival,
check in at Hotel. Afternoon city tour of Agra visiting the world famous Taj
Mahal - built by Mughal Emperor Shahjehan (CLOSED ON FRIDAYS). Later visit the
Agra fort containing the halls private and public audiences and other palaces
and Itmad-ud-Daulah, an exquisite tomb built by Nur Jahan (wife of Moghul Emperor
Jehangir) for her father Mirza Ghiyas Beg. In many ways this tomb foreshadows
the Taj Mahal and was the first construction in India in which the marble inlay
work was so beautifully and extensively used. Over night at Hotel.
Day 13: Agra / Delhi
Morning at leisure to relax at the hotel. Afternoon leave for Delhi and on arrival,
proceed directly to the international airport for the late night flight to your
destination.
